Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Yum..... Cool decor, nice big TV's, cool art. The condiment dispenser is a set of Harley handle bars. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star was that they are a little pricey.

More expensive than chipotle, lesser quality and less flavor. Also the margarita was awful and the guac tasted like Wholly Guacamole, which I like but when I go to a place like this I expect the guac to be fresh and zesty. Will not be returning.

Kinda Chipotle style, but with different and a few more choices. Service was around 9:30pm on a friday. Not busy, but had people. Its build your own so it might take awhile the first time, but seems pretty easy once you've got the choices down. They have a bowl, they have tacos, but they also have 4 different sized burritos. So those of you whom like a make in front of you burrito, but don't want left overs or on the big side twice the size then you might like Freebirds. You get to choose your tortilla from 4 choices and have cilantro/lime rice and Spanish vs white/brown, various meats, square cut vs strip vegi's, 3 bean options, various salsas, guac, and sauces. I was able to get a pretty spicy burrito without having to add a bunch of extra hot sauce which is a plus because I didn't care for the hot sauce. They suggest unwrapping the foil bit by bit from the top down which works well. Taste, it was like eating a burrito and lime/cilantro rice side depending on the bite. Carnita, Lime/Cilantro rice, Monterrey Jack, Pablano salsa, pico, veggies, Black beans, Hot Tomatillo sauce on a Cayenne tortilla, perfection. Sides include a cookie, chips/queso, or a "pot" brownie. I choose the pot brownie , which is circular like made in its own dish, I'm guessing that's the pot. Pretty big, thick but cooked through out with little chocolate chips on top. It was worth throwing out the diet for the evening. I could see with the choices the line getting pretty long at lunch. There was a chalk sign about half way through the line that mentioned it was 12 minutes from that point. So that's how busy it gets... As to those reviews on the other locations mentioning it being bland, I wouldn't know from the carnitas meat and salsa choices I made. Only reason for the 4. at 9:30 people weren't lining up with orders to keep the meat the freshest. It looked like it had been there awhile, but once stirred it didn't look horrible and tasted fine.

I love this Freebirds! I love all the options, it's a nice change from Chipotle sometimes. Anytime I've been there, the staff has been super friendly and super helpful. Very cool ambiance. I would recommend coming here for sure! And the price is reasonable for the portion and freshness. Yummy!
